about

Safety was totally by accident. I came home from work one day and had this bass riff running threw my head, so I turned on the tape machine and recorded it in full. I listened to it for a few hours and then came up with the guitar part. When Shayne and I transferred it from the original analog 4 track recording we both felt it was solid enough to publish with just the guitar and bass. Mark Stark heard it and asked if he could attempt a drum track for it. Done, wow thank you Mark for putting the right beat behind one of my favorite instrumentals.
Safety is from the album of the same title, Safety, which will be released here on Bandcamp sometime in the spring of 2016.
Safety - It's better to be Safe than sorry mix.
