This is the very first multi-track recording of Linwood by the JC Story-Teller Band. It was slated to be on the Assassin of Silence first album, Beneath All The Madness. It was bumped and has become a bonus track on many albums by JC Story-Teller, Assassin and JIm Curnutte.. In 1981 it was rerecorded for the album (factorial) where it officially took it's place. This version rocks like none of the others. It's raw and direct.
Linwood and Gillham (actual location is Gillham Plaza. A little long for the lyrics.) is a street corner in Kansas City where the famous Cowtown Ballroom and Denny's were located.
Jim Curnutte - guitars and vocals
Willie McEachern - bass
Jane Chafin - piano and moogs
Elliot Thorne - drums
